We are happy to announce that MyBank reach is being extended to other European countries besides Italy.
Please note that, during this initial launch phase, payments originating from these new banks will differ from classic MyBank SCT in that, in the pacs.008:
• the Local Instrument (CdtTrfTxInf/PmtTpInf/LclInstrm/Prtry) will NOT contain the value "MBNKCT01";
• the Transaction ID (CdtTrfTxInf/PmtId/TxId) will NOT quote the value of the “Identifier of the transaction as assigned by the Buyer Bank” (validationServiceTransactionID transmitted in the paymentResultSCT01’s response);
• the Payer’s name, BIC and IBAN (CdtTrfTxInf/Dbtr/Nm, CdtTrfTxInf/DbtrAgt/FinInstnId/BIC and CdtTrfTxInf/DbtrAcct/Id/IBAN) will refer to a fixed generic account;
• you will find the actual Payer’s name in CdtTrfTxInf/UltmtDbtr/Nm, and the actual Payer’s IBAN in CdtTrfTxInf/UltmtDbtr/Id/OrgId/Othr/Id.
NB: The paymentResultSCT01’s response will still carry the actual Payer’s name (buyerName), BIC (buyerBankBIC) and IBAN (buyerIBAN), as per standard MyBank’s specifications.
All other MyBank rules remain valid for transactions involving the new banks: in particular, an AUTHORISED MyBank transaction remains irrevocable and will result in the above SCT being issued to the Payee PSP.
Also, be aware that there might be limitations with regards to the amount of the transactions depending on the bank policies.
